Accidents do happen especially during the hustle and bustle of weddings, parties, and even small gatherings. While Encore Events Rentals guarantees equipment is in top working condition, there is always a possibility for damage to occur at any event. To help offset the cost of these damages, we offer an optional damage waiver that’s available for 14% of the total rental cost. Sub-rented specialty linens are also included in our damage waiver.
As an extra layer of protection, we have also included a “tabletop” credit. The tabletop credit will not only cover broken items, but a small amount of missing tabletop items, such as glassware, china and more! We don’t want legitimately broken tabletop products returned due to safety.
The damage waiver is a one-time, non-refundable charge to cover any accidental damage and to avoid incurring extra charges for items that are accidently damaged. Vandalism, improper use, or abuse of equipment as well as theft or missing/non returned items are not covered by the damage waiver. Any items that are damaged by rain or sprinklers and excessive product damage are also not included in the damage waiver.
Upon event conclusion, a final invoice will be issued within 72 hours of rentals being returned and checked back into our warehouse. Any damaged or missing items will be clearly noted. As a reminder, missing items are not covered by the damage waiver.
We do not charge sales tax on our rental equipment.
