ENCORE Safety Precautions

For the safety of our team and the community we’ve enlisted a number of sanitizing practices to include but aren’t limited to the following: 

  • Showrooms, common areas and all personnel spaces are being sanitized multiple times a day
  • Masks are required to be worn by all guests and members of our team inside our showrooms, operational areas and administrative offices
  • Our team maintains accordance in following social distancing rules, washing hands regularly and wearing personal protective gear while working
  • Linen & Warewash department personnel will continue to conform to public safety health regulations  in the processing of washed rental items. This includes using industrial sanitizers and chemicals and high temperatures of 180° or more in our dishwasher and laundry machines
  • All tables, chairs, furnishings, and décor are cleaned thoroughly after each rental using industrial strength disinfectant 

Contactless Delivery & Pick-Up Policies

At ENCORE, health and safety are our main priority both for our team and customers. In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible we’ve implemented a new Contactless Delivery Policy.

Below are the pertinent details of our new Contactless procedures. Should you have any questions please contact a member of our Events Team for assistance.

What to expect when Encore arrives for your delivery or pick-up of your rental items:

  • A member of our team will call or text 30 minutes prior to arrival.
  • Upon delivery arrival, we will unload and place all equipment in your front yard, porch or backyard. We will not be entering homes at this time.
  • Once we have placed all rented items in the assigned “drop location” we will text a picture to confirm rental items left on property.
  • When the event concludes place all of the equipment in the same “drop location” where originally delivered.
  • Upon pickup, if items are noticed missing on site, we will notify you and remain onsite for 10 minutes, should items be relocated. In the case they are not located, a member of our Events team will reach out to coordinate return of the items.
  • Encore Delivery and Pick-Up teams will maintain social distancing guidelines, as well as wear face mask and gloves at all times.
  • Our team members will be supplied with disinfectant to sanitize as needed while onsite.
  • In the instance you need to be onsite with our team or oversee the delivery for any reason, we ask that you wear as face mask and maintain 6’ distance from our team members.

What to expect when visiting our Windsor or Petaluma locations to pick-up rental items: 

  • Please park in one of the designated “customer” parking spots and an Encore team Will-Call member will meet you at your vehicle to identify the order being picked up. Showroom doors may be locked as we are currently only open by appointment only.
  • A team member will load the items into your vehicle, maintaining a 6’ distance whenever possible, while wearing a facemask and gloves.
  • Encore cannot provide straps or assist in secure the rentals once inside your vehicle.
  • Upon returning rented items, please park in one of the designated “customer” parking spots and an Encore team member will meet you at your vehicle to identify the order being returned.
  • A team member will remove the items from your vehicle, maintaining a 6’ distance whenever possible while wearing a facemask and gloves.
  • Team members cannot assist with un-fastening any items secured inside the vehicle.

Questions You May Have

What if I have to cancel?

  • Because we know “life” happens, ENCORE offers a generous cancellation policy that indicates an order may be canceled up to 7 days prior to delivery for a full refund. You will need to call or email to request a cancelation.

Can I postpone my rentals?

  • We pride ourselves in being flexible and rentals can be postponed. The deposit and items will be moved to the new designated date (moved items will be subject to availability). You will need to call or email to request a postponement.

Can I place a new order at this time?

  • ENCORE is fully operational and new orders can be placed by contacting our Events Team. Please refer to our new hours of operation here. In-person visits are by appointment only. You can arrange your appointment here. We are readily available via phone, email and our website. All new orders must be in compliance with present public safety health regulations.

What will happen to my existing order?

  • Any existing order that doesn’t conflict with public safety health regulations will remain unchanged and finalized in accordance with normal reservation policy.

Can I still make an event design consultation appointment?

  • We are welcoming guests by limited walk-in capacity and by appointment only on Saturday while also still performing “virtual” appointments via digital tech apps or over the phone. Our virtual appointments have proven a huge success since we can interact with you right from our brand new Windsor showroom. It’s a great way to include your planner, parents, etc.
