It’s your special day! Whether your story begins with “Once upon a time”, “We were high school sweethearts” or “We met online”, every bride’s goal is to “live happily ever after!” Weddings, big or small, can be a beautiful expression of the bride and groom’s relationship and personalities. From your anticipated entrance down the aisle until you toss your bouquet, every moment and detail in between can be as fabulous and memorable as your heart desires.
The magic is in the details!! With so many aspects to your wedding, there are limitless ways to bring your own style & flair. Here are a few ideas of little details that can add that something ‘special’ to your day.
A chair to remember
Chair add-ons are a simple way to spice up the seating arrangements! Here are some examples:
B & G letters to mark the Bride and Groom’s chairs. These can be purchased at any craft store, painted then tied with a cute ribbon.

LOVE THIS LOOK: Our latest, favorite idea by Pineapple Planet is to use ribbon to hang a small vintage vase filled with simple flowers!!
MONEY SAVER: Don’t feel like you have to treat every chair equal….every other chair with some flair is fine too!
A Brand New You
It’s your special day, you and your groom are now a “we”! So a fun way to express that at your wedding is to design your own logo! Brand your name on your invitations and use that brand or logo throughout your wedding. This can be a super fun and creative way for you & the new hubs to show some style and have fun with your names!
MONEY SAVER: print your own!! And Kayden Ashley makes this so easy for you!! At their online shop on Etsy, you will find a ton of wonderful designs that they personalize for you then you print your own! From menu cards to wedding favors, here are a few of our favorites:

We chatted with Bryce at Vanda Floral about some of the latest trends and ideas when it comes to flowers for your wedding! As for your bouquet, don’t be afraid to show your style!! Big, beautiful blooms are definitely in like peonies, dahlias and garden roses! And remember, it’s your party so be as dramatic as you want to be!! Darker, brighter colors make a bold statement against your wedding dress but a classic white bouquet is still divine.
And for the men….the latest trends are using more natural elements like berries and twigs, as well as succulents. The key is to keep it simple yet still interesting and masculine. Here are three examples of boutonnieres that make us cheer!
Centerpieces should vary as much as our personalities. Whether you are looking for something simple and understated or big and “wow”, there are endless possibilities! Bryce often finds himself designing towards vintage and rustic styles. A fun idea is using trees, like these Manzanita’s shown. You can add flowers, candles or even fruit!

Mason jars, wooden boxes and antique vases are making a comeback as well! LOVE THIS LOOK: multiple mason jars on one table with monochromatic blooms! Or go simple and elegant with one single jar with full blooms, accented with candles.
MONEY SAVER: treasure hunt at local garage sales and second-hand stores to find inexpensive jars, boxes and vases, or even a relative’s attic! Most florists are happy to use your own vessels and it can save you money in the end.
